Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
If you enter information into a sponsored search box, the query is sent to the outside provider that operates that service. That provider processes the request under its own privacy terms. Sutton County Warrant Records does not keep an official warrant-search database or use search-box entries to create court records.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send the site operator a message, the contents may be retained so the request can be handled. Messages are not shared with outside parties except as required by law or needed to provide the requested service.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, routine technical logs may include information such as:
- Network or IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- The referring page, where available
- Time and date of a request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. Analytics tools may use them to measure broad site traffic, such as which pages are visited or where a session ends. You can manage cookies in browser settings; blocking them may change how some site features work.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and service information may be used to:
- Keep the pages available and functioning
- Route a search request to the outside provider that runs it
- Understand which local information visitors use
- Find and correct technical faults
- Display advertising or sponsored search features
These uses do not turn the site into an official court index or a consumer reporting agency.
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host or sell a database of Sutton County warrants, named warrant entries, or case files. It publishes general contact and access information about the Sheriff's Office, Sutton JP, Sonora Municipal Court, County Court, 112th District Court, and County & District Clerk. The site does not create consumer reports about other people.
The official county search links and the site's own visitor data are separate. The former are held by the relevant court or service; the latter are handled under the practices described here.
Third-Party Search Partners
Some search boxes are operated by an outside company. Information typed into one goes to that provider, and its privacy policy controls what it does with the request. We do not set the partner's retention period, pricing, result rules, or disclosures. Review those terms before submitting personal details.
Links to Other Websites
Pages may link to Sutton County, Sonora, Texas courts, state agencies, statutes, or private service providers. Once you leave this site, the other operator's privacy policy applies. Read it before entering information.
Advertising and analytics providers may use their own tools to understand activity across websites. Those practices are governed by their terms, not this page.
Who Might See Your Data
The site does not sell personal data. Information may be handled by service providers that support the page, including:
- Search partners receiving a query submitted to their feature
- Analytics services measuring traffic
- Advertising networks supporting sponsored placements
- A government body or law-enforcement authority when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used for information handled by the site. No internet service can promise that all data will always remain secure. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive details unless an official office or service requests them through a proper channel.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and is not designed to collect personal information from children under 18. Do not submit a child's information in a search feature. Texas law also treats specified juvenile arrest-warrant records as confidential, separate from this site's visitor-data practices.
Your Data Rights
Texas public-record laws govern records held by government bodies, not a private site's visitor data. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, applies to covered governmental records subject to exceptions. Adjudicative court records follow separate rules, including Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12. Those laws do not create a public warrant portal or govern data held by a private search partner.
Where applicable law or the site's own practices allow, a person may ask what information is held about them, request a correction, ask that data be deleted, or opt out of certain processing. A provider may need to handle a request for information sent directly to its search feature.
Updates to This Policy
The policy may be revised as the site's tools or practices change. The current version will appear here with an updated effective date. Review it again before using a search partner if you need to understand how that service handles a query.
